Spyingbee terms of service. Plain language, no surprises.

  • Spyingbee monitors public competitor changelogs and uses AI to detect product signals.
  • You own your data. We own the service. Competitor data belongs to the competitors.
  • Cancel anytime. Your access stays until the end of the billing period.
  • Use the service for lawful purposes only. No reselling, no scraping for resale.
  • We can update these terms with 30 days notice by email.

The service

Spyingbee is a competitor monitoring platform. It discovers and tracks public changelogs, then uses AI to detect and classify product signals. By using Spyingbee, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your credentials confidential and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account anytime from your settings page.

What you can and cannot do

Use the service for lawful purposes. Do not:

  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission
  • Scrape or redistribute AI-generated content for commercial resale
  • Interfere with or attempt to break the service
  • Use the service in ways that violate applicable laws

Ownership

The Spyingbee service (design, code, branding) is ours. Competitor data we monitor belongs to the respective companies. We do not claim ownership of the data we monitor on your behalf. AI-generated summaries are for your internal use.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe in USD. Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period. We give 30 days notice before changing prices. Refunds are handled case by case.

Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We will notify you of planned maintenance when possible.

Your data

Processed under our Privacy Policy and the GDPR. Infrastructure is hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Helsinki, Finland). When you delete your account, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law, with disputes resolved in Helsinki courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you can bring proceedings in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
